It is not very easy to achieve balance when decorating the office for the holidays. If you use too much sparkle and glitter your office space may look tacky or unprofessional. On the other hand too little decorative elements create spartan and grim atmosphere.

a) The holiday lights shouldn’t be left on or unattended. The last person existing in the office must always unplug them.

b) The lights shouldn’t become the distraction so you shouldn’t buy linking or flickering lights.

c) Don’t plug the lights into outlets that are shared with other energy-demanding electronics such as printers, fax machines, and computers.

d) You shouldn’t place candles in the office because it may create the risk of fire.

7. Share the true spirit of the season. For example, you can organize a company food drive. Your employees can bring in canned goods and other nonperishable food items which can be donated to a local shelter or other aid organization.
